NASA Education Advisory Committee
10.31.06

Since arriving at NASA in April 2005, Administrator Griffin has focused a significant amount of attention on the agency's management structure and the vital role played by external advisory committees. He holds the NASA Advisory Council and its attendant committees in the highest regard, and has given a great deal of consideration to the structure, membership, and mandate of advisory committees as a whole. The administrator believes that a single advisory body that combines expertise in all facets of NASA's policies and programs would best meet the goals envisioned for the council.

In accordance with Administrator Griffin's direction, the independently chartered Education Advisory Committee was dissolved in Dec. 2005. Historical information and minutes may be found in the charter and committee documents below.
